Pilot Beach Resort

We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very kind and friendly. The rooms and the hotel were very clean and tidy. The room we had was quiet and we had a good view of the pool. The food was excellent, the entertainment was pretty low key. The beach and the pools were exceptional. We would recommend this resort. Thank you for the brilliant holiday and relaxing time.

It is a lovely place to be especially with children. Mainly because of the well maintained beach and various swimming pool arrangements. The beach has this super-fine sand and you can walk with a child for a long distance into the water. The hotel has organised many deck chairs and parasols around the swimming pools and the beach. The view from the Gialos restaurant facing the infinity pool and the beach is heartwarming. A special mention should be the very active animation team of the hotel. There were very interesting and fun programs organised for the entire day for children as well as adults. The entire animation team was very kind and hospitable. Some things, which were extremely disappointing were the food and the rooms. The food was very very salty. Most of the items in the menu were repetitive and nothing so special. However, the gyros in both Kronos and Gialos was very tasty and also certain items in the dessert. The cocktails in all the restaurants are not even worth mentioning. The fish was never fresh! The restaurant staff were probably very stressed out and (except a few) were never presenting themselves with a warm face. The rooms definitely needed renovation. We had a family room on the ground floor, facing the sea. We were very happy with the location and the amount of space inside, but it was full of ants, all the time. The toilets stink like anything passing it to the entire living space. This is because there is something about the drainage system there. But overall, the experience was amazing in spite about these issues because all the positive points mentioned in this review made it a good vacation. If the hotel takes care of the rooms and the improves the food, we would like to come here every year! I really wish they do something about it.

We've visited Pilot Beach Resort two years in a row with our very young children (1 and 3 years old) and it's been a wonderful experience both times. The beach is amazing, clean, safe and with (most of the time) calm waters. It’s ideal for families. The rooms are as shown in the pictures and being close to the beach is definitely worth it. The buffet options at all the restaurants are excellent. The appetizers and main courses are always well-prepared and there’s something for everyone. However, for the desserts, only a few really stood out. The kid’s corner restaurant is great, it is open during the day until 5PM. In 2023, we noticed it was a bit dirty but they’ve made more efforts in 2024 to keep it clean. The variety of food for kids is fantastic, although I wish they had boiled vegetables in the buffet options (like in all the other restaurants). The staff is wonderful, always friendly and accommodating to families. Over two years, we never had a single disappointment with the service. There’s also a new playground near the football grounds for kids aged 3 and up, which is a fantastic addition! I only wish they had something there for children under 3. Almost every night, there are 2 to 4 events or shows, all worth attending. Our kids especially enjoyed the mini-disco and magician shows. On a practical note, we had to visit the nearby hospital during our stay and the staff there were excellent. We felt very secure and the doctors were professional and attentive. Thank you Pilot Beach Resort for giving us amazing family memories! We came here twice during a time when we desperately needed rest and fun with our little ones and both visits exceeded our expectations!

We enjoyed the stay very much. The staff was very kind and friendly. The rooms and the complete environment in the hotel was excellent clean and nice. The room we had been located was quiet and we got a good view to the garden as well as to the pool next to us. Food and entertainment was excellent as well. We did not want to go back home and we will come back for sure. Thank you for the brilliant holiday and relaxing time you all did provide to us.

Really nice relaxing hotel. Very clean, friendly with great staff in a good location close to the small village of Georgioupolis which has some really good family restaurants. Our room was nice with a great unspoilt sea view. A little bit dated, but was kept really clean and tidy by the cleaner. Beach and pool area with beach side bar is kept clean with plenty of beds. The beach is beautiful. No need to get up early to reserve the beds, Food was a bit repetitive but we could always find something appetising to eat. We were on half board so we had to pay for all our drinks. A bottle of water on the table with your evening meal would have been nice gesture. Would highly recommend this hotel for a lovely relaxing holiday with some great staff.

Everything from start to finish was AMAZING. Food was great in all restaurant's buffet was good plenty of choice. Beach is so clean clear water all the way out lovely to swim in and play games. Only niggle was beds on beach are uncomfortable if you choose to spend a day at beach, if you spend it at the pool you get a cushion for the same beds. You really do have everything you need nothing is to much trouble staff are very friendly. I will definitely recommend and return great for families.

Amazing hotel, lovely bungalow, restaurants and food gorgeous. The beach is great and walk to Georgioupolis along the beach is great. 4 pools, plenty of space. Everything clean and very relaxing. Cannot fault it. Will definitely be visiting again.

We've got in after a long flight + car ride to the hotel on a Saturday evening (around 22:00) with two kids (5 and 2 years old) You can imagine how we felt, when we got our room which was a moldy, musty one which was not even close to a 5 * hotel experience... (room 3201 btw, stay away if possible). Not a good start I would say Went to reception and I was told to come back in the morning as there were no available rooms, but after breakfast they will give us a different room. (They were not surprised at all btw about the moldy bathroom, door and couch in room 3201) The next day after breakfast I was told that if I we wait one more night, we will get an upgraded room ( a family suite), so we've slept in the moldy room with the kids one more night. Truth to be told, they finally gave us the family suite, but the feeling was that the hotel staff tried to see if we would be ok with a moldy, musty room in the first place... I don't even understand how that (and maybe others) room is even there, in a 5* resort So the fact that they upgraded us free of charge was nice, however, the taste in our mouths was already set as the first two nights were horrible, resembling more to a 3* hotel experience. The beach and the water was excellent, the kids loved every minute of our stay there. Otherwise, the food was nothing special, the usual all inclusive menus with little changes here and there each day. Oh, we could not find a reasonably good coffee anywhere on the resort, so if you are a coffee lover, be prepared for average to low quality coffees. The staff is not that friendly, but I think this is more of a Greek characteristic. All in all, our week long trip was nice, but I think the hotel should have only 4 stars tops! P.S.: Whoever is dealing with the resorts gardens should get a raise, that's one thing that I would say deserves 5 stars!

I am very picky but this hotel experience was nice. Pros and cons; Pros; - Beach very clean and nice - Staff very friendly, especially Tina at the beach restaurant. Lovely person she is, very professional. - Food was decent, not the best though as mainly Pork is used. - No wristsbands and no towel cards which is a good thing. - Lifeguard is very good! Really on point - you will see when you see him ☺️ Cons: - Too many pork options, beef I’ve never seen and lamb is cheap cuts. - Room not always fully clean.
